Shutdown xp problems by safiq

hai everyone
Whenever i turnoff My PC (it is IBM System with windows xp service pack2 ) it takes lot of time to shut down .
When i open eventviewer by going start->run->eventvwr.msc after restart it shows the error
"Windows saved user HABEEB-678FF16C\HABEEB registry while an application or service was still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the user's registry has not been freed. The registry will be unloaded when it is no longer in use.
This is often caused by services running as a user account, try configuring the services to run in either the LocalService or NetworkService account."

Solutions by experts
method 1.Launch Event Viewer from Control Panel -> Administrative Tools. Note: You can also go to Start -> Run and enter eventvwr.msc in the Open box to launch Event Viewer. Look in the Application branch for events with a source of Userenv and ID of 1517 or 1524. If you find those errors, download and install the User Profile Hive Cleanup Service.
User Profile Hive Cleanup Service http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=1B286E6D-891...
For more information on this subject take a look at this web site.
You experience log off problems on a Windows XP-based, Windows Server 2003-based, Windows 2000-based, or Windows NT 4.0-based computer http://support.microsoft.com/kb/837115

method2:
This suggestion may help. Download and install the User Profile Hive Cleanup Service Download details: User Profile Hive Cleanup Service http://snipurl.com/5b61

method 3:(easy method really)
User profile clean-up utility probably wont change the service(s) that keep running,edit the service.Or,for a quick,simple fix,go to run,type:regedit In regedit,expand:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\controlpanel\desktop\L.click on auto endtasks,go to edit,modify,change from 0 to 1,close out regedit....

Background information on Stop Error message http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms795930.aspx
0x000000D1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL The system attempted to access pageable memory using a kernel process IRQL that was too high. The most typical cause is a bad device driver (one that uses improper addresses). It can also be caused by caused by faulty or mismatched RAM, or a damaged pagefile. Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? Right click on the My Computer icon on your Desktop and select Properties, Hardware,Device Manager. If yes what is the Device Error code?
1.Try Start, Run, type "sigverif.exe" without quotes and hit OK. What drivers are listed as unsigned? Disregard those which are not checked.
Please post complete Event Viewer reports.
A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from Event Viewer.

If every thing not works try in google with your event id or mail me at mohamedsafiq1@gmail.com

Showing hidden files

How do you solve hidden files does not appear After effected by virus?
Answer RAVMON.EXE,MDM.EXE,SVCHOST.EXE Hidden files options not working
solution

hello guys, Iam fighting with all virus for more than one year , and i guess many others are having this same issue right now, so iam ready to provide others using this community
Steps to clean the virus
First Stopping the virus: ________________________________________ All u need to check the task manager (by pressing ctrl+shift+esc) and click on processes tab to see if there is a (SVCHOST.EXE) running under the current logged in username and try to terminate it carefull:not the process in system
Note: After u terminate the virus try not to double click on any of you computer driver coz this action will start the virus allover again, when u need to access any of ur drivers (Hard Disk Partition), type it's drive letter in the address bar and it will open without starting the virus process.
Second Fixing the show hidden files and folders:
Then u need to open "Registry Editor" and then go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer \Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL" And delete the Existing "CheckedValue" of the type "String" and create another one of the same name but of the type "DWORD" and set it's value to "1" Then open "My Computer" and go to: Tools> Folder Options> View> and select "Show hidden files and folders" and Uncheck "Hide protected operating system files"
Third Deleting the virus:

The easiest part, all u have to do is to delete the following files from ur computer ( don't forget how u should open the drivers or u will have to do it from the start )
1.C:\windwos\SVCHOST.EXE 2.C:\windwos\SVCHOST.inf or ini (probably they will be together side by side) 3.C:\RAVMON.EXE 4.C:\Autorun.inf Then check the rest of the hard drivers you have on your computer ( D, E, or whatever) for the files Number (3 and 4)
Restart your computer and run XoftspySE latest Version (4.31.232) u can download it from the internet.
Step 4: Go to google and type Smart Virus Remover (557.4 KiB, 17,156 hits)
Using this Virus Remover please restore your Windows settings and your show hidden files and folders will be set to default.

Disable Auto Play in CD

It is safest to disable CD autoplay in XP using either local group policy or, for an enterprise, an Active Directory group policy.
The local group policy editor method:
Click Start ->click Run ->Enter GPEDIT.MSC Group Policy mmc will popup.
On left panel: Double-click Computer Configuration to open submenu Double-click Administrative Templates to open submenu Double-click System to open submenu Double-click Turn autoplay off option which will be near the bottom of the list in the right panel. The default is the Not configured . Set it to Enabled.
