How to shrink volume in windows7

After Buying a windows7 installed laptop, many users face the problem that there is only one drive for maximum GB allocated.


That is c: is allocated(for ex 320GB),Now you need to shrink this volume in to more manageable drives, so that you can seperate the data and avoid loss of data when windows is corrupted.

Follow these steps

1.Press Windows+r and type "diskmgmt.msc" without quotes

2.Right click the c: and select shrink volume

3.Type the amount of gb you have to shrink by default
it shows maximum GB to be shrinked so type those values in the box,press ok


4.Now some unallocated space has been created

5.Right click the unallocated space and click create simple volume and give a
letter for the drive and format drive with default ntfs system and press ok


6.Now you have your new drives created so that you can seperate os from data drive.

Here are the steps to stop this dwm.exe temporarily without disabling it to speed up your PC
-->Type “Service” into the search box
--> Select the “Service” link
-->Right click on “Desktop Windows Manager Session”
--> Select “Stop” to stop it from running

Disable dwm from startup
--> Double click on “Desktop Windows Manager Session”
--> Select “Disable” as shown in screenshot
-->Click “OK”

what are the first step needed when your system is attacked by virus

Iam going to share about the first important steps to prevent the system,when the system is attacked by virus.(these steps also helps to improve your system performance and speed)

1.Go to taskmanager(by pressing ctrl+shift+esc or alt+ctrl+del).
2.Go to the process tab.
3.Now you have to find the unwanted .exe files and end process that.
some tips to find these unwanted .exe process
*Find the .exe process runs under your username(but not as system/local service/network service).
*then ignore the process such as explorer.exe,antivirus process(for example if you install avg it runs as avgtray,wuauclt),applications name.
*then endprocess all other unwanted .exe process for example: regsvr.exe,autorun.inf,etc..
4.Now go to start->search then search for .exe,.inf files in your computer and delete the unwanted files.
(Note:These are the manual steps to delete the virus.My suggestion is install any antivirus such as avg,avast and update that frequently).

1.Trojan horse Downloader.Generic8.XJP(this trojan directly stored in restore section of the drive as a .exe file).
2.Virus identified Worm/AutoRun.HY(this virus generates autorun files that run in background).
3.Trojan horse Generic13.RHE(it's a trojan stored in system memory location in the name memory.exe)
4.Trojan horse IRC/BackDoor.SdBot4.MWV(It is a trojan stored as "syslog.exe" in memory location and generates some unwanteds).
5.Virus identified Worm/Autoit.YQN (This virus creates a .exe file in each folder as it's name).
6.Virus identified I-Worm/Generic.CKC(This virus is a root virus directly stored in memory location as a file extension of .vmx).
7.Virus identified Worm/Generic_c.ZS(It is a autorun.inf virus it helps to spread the virus)
