Hi, my windows xp has suffered from win32/tanatos.M virus and win32/heur virus, it is detected by avg 8.5 but those virus has infected to all .exe files of my pc including backup files. That virus has also infected avgtray.exe file so avg deleted avgtray.exe file along with other infected exe files while scanning pc. I dont have internet c0nnection at my home so i cannot automatically update avg 8.5. I have l0st all backup files including audio, video driver backup. I have f0rmatted my c0mputer twice to get rid of this virus. Can u provide me 'update files of avg 8.5' so that i can manually update files. hai sandip The update for avg8.0 is fit to 8.5 so you can download this manually from http://free.avg.com/us-en/download-update
and update your avg by going to tools->update from directory.
And one advice do not format pc continuously it affects system performance if any help needed comment us bye bye
