Steps:
1.Start>run>msconfig
2.Click selective startup
3.click startup tab
4.uncheck the items you dont want when the xp starts
5.Xp becomes faster Now
Next Step Services tab
1.Open msconfig click services tab
2.Click the check box "Hide all microsoft services"
3.Now uncheck the items that are causing your system slowing down and
unwanted startup Items.
4.Restart the system.

Ways to Boot XP fast:
1.Use Windows defragmentation start->all programs->accessories->system tools-> windows defragmentation
2.delete temporary files go to start->run-> type %temp%
delete un wanted files or even all files it is not affect ur system.
3.Type msconfig in run prompt
select the selective startup and select startup tab ->uncheck the items u donot want to start when windows starting.
